We specifically promote contact with industry for the benefit of both sides. A close exchange between industry and research has great advantages for both sides. For one thing, there are worthwhile interfaces in the sense of an exchange of technology, for example with industry representatives from semiconductor technology or Beta Science. On the other hand, our students as well as the industry representatives themselves benefit from newly established contacts: Our students gain insights into possible future fields of work and industry representatives can draw on a pool of future highly qualified employees.

Therefore, we maintain close contact to selected industry representatives and organize industry meetings, where students and industry representatives are brought into contact and alumni from the industry give lectures about their new fields of work.
